The China rejection and Texas recall involved separate facilities and events.
China reportedly suspended one Argentine processing facility after chloramphenicol was detected in a 22-ton shipment.
That does not prove the rejected shipment was rerouted to the United States. The Texas recall involved another Argentine facility, FrigorÃfico Gorina SAIC, and the U.S. action was tied to a missing reinspection step.
These are separate events. It is fair to ask hard questions about imports, inspections, and traceability. It is not fair to treat a country, a plant, and a shipment as if they are all the same thing.
